I encountered some weird UI issues with the since reverted update on my 2012 Note 10.1. Works fine now with the previous rev.

I am using the pen on a Gnote 10.1. Cannot seem to find a "Phone Icon"?

If anyone is looking for a stylus that is more comfortable than the Samsung stylus, I have found the Wacom Feel (v2) to be very nice. It has been noted early on, that the Wacom Bamboo Feel for Note has a ~2mm offset. Wacom has recently released a revised version of the Sylus that removes the offset. The V2 pen has a revised tip that is slightly shorter, the Model number is CS300UK2 (ver1 is CS300UK1) and comes is Blue & White box instead of the initial black & white box.

I am thinking of getting one or get the Note Pro..
Some unanswered questions about this device in comparison to the Samsung Note Series are:
Can all the tablet and stylus buttons be customized to in-app functions in a similar way that can be done with Clover Paint on the Galaxy NOte 10.1 Can a "multi window" functionality can be run and used on it similar to a Samsung tablet?
IMHO Having the better pen input as well as the hybrid functionality would be awesome, but only IF the above questions can be resolved.

I have found that my EFT will stop working if I don't re-connect to the Google Play Store periodically. I have found the developer to be responsive but it might take a few days hear something. I hope you can get a response to your multi-device issue. If you uninstall on BOTH devices and then just install on one device, will it work ok?

Good suggestion.
Yes the Bridgeman books are good, comparable to Hampton, as well as Loomis and Vilppu. I have them all in paperback, and a few in PDF.
Thanks of the music app link, I will check it out!

Thanks GM
Yeh I have the EFT extension for Clover Paint. That might be the issue I am having too, the image browser cannot find the PSD, as what you describe is exactly my experience.
I might need to find an image browser the supports PSD!

Thanks GM, I will check out Photo Gallery. I will have a look at FL Studio Mobile too, not interest in music editing, just want a more "iTunes' like functionality. heh heh.
In addition to the Hogarth book, I high recommend Figure Drawing: Design and Invention by Michael Hampton if someone is interested in learning how to draw the human form from the imagination. He also have en excellent ANALYTICAL FIGURE DRAWING class at CGMA.
Cheers

I have not looked at Imagine FX in some time as well, maybe I need to have a look again, thanks!
I have found that many of the anatomy apps I have seen are better suited as medical reference than for art reference, the 3d models seem to be like poser modes that lack proper deformations. The best pose reference I have seen so far (IMHO) is Posebook SIlver - Male and Posebook Silver - Femaie. However I tend to gather my own reference and use that most of the time.
Does anyone have a recommendation on a image viewer that is better than Quickpic. Perhaps something that can open as many image file formats as Photoshop?
On something not art related looking for a MP3 player that allows scrubbing though a track. I have MX Player and Music Player and they don't seem to allow that?

One of the best I have found for learning digital painting is www.ctrlpaint.com . Plus mostly free!

A good start to digital drawing, with time you will get more comfortable. I agree with what ellietaylorartist has written. I have the 2012 (first) model of the Galaxy note 10.1 and use Sketchbook Pro for quick drawing, and sketch studies, and then use Clover Paint for painting etc. I like to practice during my commute (train) with 1 minute and 5 minute gesture drawings with my Note 10.1. My set-up is as follows: #1 I have a directory of saved life poses images from artists.pixelovely.com#2 Thanks to Samsung's ability to have multi windows, I set-up the app "QuickPic" to be "Pinned always on top" with it slide show set to 60 or 300 seconds. #3 After starting the slideshow I open Sketchbook or Clover Paint and start drawing and painting. I prefer using the stylus with the rubber tip as I find the plain plastic one seems to put more strain on my wrist. Cheers JH

First, a big thanks for creating this forum, I have high hopes.
Anyway, has anyone been able to import PSD's into Clover Paint. I can export PSDs no problem, but only import Jpegs and PNGs? I have tried PSD's from Clover Paint, Photoshop and Sketchbook Pro without much success.
Cheers
