Verified this today at ATT store with an employee's white Note 4 stylus. My Note4 is black, fwiw. Adjusting the pressure curve in your brush/app settings will be a must now if you want to take advantage of the lowest pressure levels. The linear default no longer covers the full range adequately with an N4 spen

Hmmm... I do have the full Note version of Infinite Paint. But when i went to the google+ page where it has the links to become a beta tester, only the regular (non-note) version link worked for me :/ And i haven't purchased the regular version. Yeah, i was pretty impressed by Painter. Especially considering it's so new =) Seems to have one of the nicer workflows... I'm giving LayerPaint HD another shot now that you can hide that huge bar at the top of the screen. It's still kind of a screen hog when used on a Note phone's screen, imho... I liked Artflow, but felt like i was having to tap too much to get to some of the stuff that i use a lot... I'm picky like that. Spoiled by Procreate i guess It manages to have everything you need - have it within easy reach - and keeps it out of your way.

I'm mostly a 3d guy, but been doing more 2d lately, and have always liked drawing. For digital sketching, i normally use an old cintiq 12wx and Manga Studio or Photoshop.... I mostly do cartoony comic book stuff and some concept design. My favorite mobile app is Procreate (iPad), but just can't get used to drawing with a big mushy tip or disk... So, i'm in search of something similar for my Note 4. Clover Paint comes closest as far as features. But i prefer the gui of several other apps. Looking forward to seeing this place grow

Hmmm.. I haven't experienced either of those issues. Good to know though. Thanks

I normally use pretty basic brushes, so haven't really had any lagging in Clover Paint, myself. Makes sense though. I'm sure it's worth a little lag in AR if you're really wanting to do painterly stuff.. Hope it runs well on your Note Pro =)
I actually tried to sign up last night after seeing your post about the last beta i think it was(?) The link for the Note version wasn't working, and i only have the free version of the non-note version. Will look into it again tonight though... It sounds like this is going to be a really nice release coming up! May actually become my personal favorite painting app =) Painter is another one that i recently tried that seems to have a lot of potential as well.... Right now there are several apps that are only missing a couple of little things that keep me from using them.
I'll go back to Clover Paint if Infinite Painter doesn't work out. I lost all my settings recently, and reeeeeally not looking forward to getting it configured again =p And the gui is a little hard to read on my Note's screen.

I would really like to see the Android version have a way to distort a selection. Or at least have non-uniform scaling. Also a quick way to flip the canvas (not layer). And have undo/redo on the volume btns. That would free up the bottom corner shortcuts for other things, like "last brush" toggle since you have to click around so much just to change brushes or grab an eraser The "finger to erase" feature many other apps have is also really nice... Sorry to be so negative. It's just that Sketchbook has the potential to be so much better, but if this is their big update for android, i'm giving up on it ever being my go-to app :/

Just got a Note4, and was pretty psyched to see it as one of the gifts. I like the desktop version quite a bit. For me, the nice paint engine isn't worth the lag. I didn't last 2min with it. Was pretty much the case with my iPad3 and ArtRage too i remember :/

Been playing around with my new Note 4 and thought i would try my old Note 3 styluseses..es...... I could get lighter lines that were almost impossible to achieve with the Note 4 stylus... I may just have a bad N4 stylus, but both of my N3 stylus have a much wider range in the lower end of the pressure curve.... I tested in multiple apps with the same results. Can anyone confirm or refute this? I know the N4 stylus is supposed to have twice the levels. But wondering if the implementation was botched somewhere along the line in the OS or something.... I found the easiest way to demonstrate the difference is to lightly draw some circles using both. I wouldn't have even noticed the reduced pressure curve if i hadn't tried them side by side. But after doing so, I am * DEFINITELY* seeing no benefit when it comes to the N4's doubled pressure sensitivity Thanks
