While not strictly a mobile platform I'm continued to be drawn towards this windows 8 machine. Stylus enabled and with an 11.6 inch screen it has the features and form factor that make it an ideal drawing companion. We have the atom, 2gb ram, version at work which I downloaded GIMP onto. It's really nice. I think the core i5 version with 4gb RAM is a must though as it will soon get used up once you start adding several layers to your peices. www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00B3Q9V5K/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pd_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=2SV9ALFBCBWRE&coliid=I303QVLGUKPBJ2&psc=1I should be getting a bit of the money in the summer. Hopefully this will have dropped further by then, or may I can get my brother in the US to bring one back for me once he comes home. We shall see. It wont be a replacement for my Note 8. That will always be my travel companion. It will be my stay at home machine take out occasionally when required. The apps I used on my tablet output in PSD format so I should not have an issue with cross compatibility, and I'll use a service such as DropBox to store my work in progress. I will most likely use Manga Studio EX 5 as my main software. Although I've never used it before I've seen enough clips and read enough reviews to decide that its probably my best choice for drawing. I use lightroom rather than photoshop for my photos anyway.
