Does anyone know of an app and layer settling that would allow for texture overlay?
I always think digital work looks to clean

Pixlr Express, which is from Autodesk like SketchBook Pro, has several overlay textures for the final picture including a canvas texture. Infinite Painter has an import feature on the layers so you might could do that in it. Auryn Ink has a textured paper that you paint on. Clover Paint may import photo texture too. Photoshop Touch may have something too.

Ive been using pixlr express for it at the moment, but as far as i can tell you can only use the pre set textures and can not import your own. I can import textures into a few different apps, but what I havent figured out is what layer blend setting I need in order to get my required effect. Clover Paint has just updated with some new blend modes though. I'll have a play when I get some time after I am home from my business trip.
