If you need to back up the contents of your tablet, Moborobo is a fairly decent program to get it done. It backs up all your picture files, music, contacts, and apps and app data to your desktop PC. You download the main program on your PC and when you hook up to it via a USB cable, Moborobo will install its app on your tablet. In my experience it works great on pictures and music files and okay on apps. I couldn't get it to make a proper backup of my apps. I kept getting a backup failed message, but it did make a file of every app on my Note Pro 12.2 tablet. The problem was that some of the files were empty. The smaller files and files from the Amazon app store backed up just fine. The problem came in with the Google Play Store files. Google has a policy that files have to be no bigger than 50 MBs or something like that and so for big games there has to be a big additional file. Moborobo seemed to only save the smaller file on these apps and not the rest of the game. It didn't save some of the big games at all and I couldn't get it to save my app data. (That means I have to start Art Mogul all over again, but nevermind it's a fun game anyway.)
However, it saved most of my apps and I at least knew what all I had on my tablet. I was able to put most of my apps back on my tablet with the Moborobo app installer which was a lot faster than downloading them all. Moborobo finds your device and stays connected fairly well, but if you unplug your tablet and then reconnect without closing Moborobo, that causes problems. It seems to lose contact with the tablet and you have to shut the program down and turn off your tablet. Once you turn everything on again and reconnect it works fine. Another backup program I have used Wondershare MobileGo and it has a lot of problems finding my devices even when they are hooked up with a USB cable. Moborobo works a lot better even if it is not perfect. It works for both android and ios devices.
