Hooray! That was totally under the radar for me. I had no idea that they were getting close to an android version! They actually beat out the ArtRage version release. I am definitely going to try it out! Not sure I'll get the upgrade for the PC just yet. Last time they had the reference window as a new feature and that's why I got X3 cause 12 didn't have that. You might be able to get some of the older Corel Painter versions for your tablet at a lower price. Too bad android for windows is not working out, but the NVIDIA tablet is not too expensive so maybe you can save up some extra money and get it soon.

I got the new app for Corel Mobile. You get a few brushes for free and then if you want the full version you buy them through IAP. This is kind of a problem because sometimes it won't recognize your purchase. When I didn't have an internet connection, it didn't recognize my purchase. That is not good because if you want to go painting outside or at an art class or wherever and don't have a wireless connection, you can't use the program. Hopefully that bug will get fixed. It is also unstable right now and crashes a lot, but that can be fixed too. It has over 70 brushes including oil paintbrushes, watercolor, pens, calligraphy, pencils, airbrushes, and some texture brushes. It also has different paper textures that you can paint on. It has layer support and you can export your painting into the new Painter 2015 program for the desktop PC. It seems to have smooth brush function and isn't laggy. It's a nice program and hopefully they will add more features to it and stabilize it.

The desktop PC version of Painter 2015 is available for $429 or you can upgrade for $229. However, if you want to just try it out on your windows tablet, you can get the Painter Lite version for $49.99 ( I'm sure it's available in England too.) Then if you decide you want the full version after trying the Lite version, you can get 30% off the full version price when you upgrade. That might be a good way to try Painter out on your Surface tablet without paying a lot of money.

I just buy this sotware for my galaxy note 8, is good but still has some lags and crash. Also you can only create a 1024x1024 artwork, but here : www.painterartist.com/us/product/mobile-painting-app/ they still claim that the software suport 2048x2048. I made a complain but corel says that there are trying to solve the problem. Sorry for me english.

Yes, they are working on that. I think what is going on is that devices with higher resolution can create 2048 by 2048 pixels, but devices with lower resolution can only create pictures with 1024 by 1024 pixels. So it depends on the resolution of your device right now. I can create a 2048 by 2048 canvas on my Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2, but only a 1024 by 1024 canvas on my Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and 2012 10.1 tablets. Hopefully they can fix that.
