Every time my YouTube app has an update now, it causes my Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 tablet to crash. The fix is to uninstall all updates and then just update to the latest version of YouTube. I have no idea why it is doing this , but it's not the only Google app that I have trouble with. Since Google plus updated their app 4 months ago, I can't use any of the new versions on my 2012 Note 10.1. It just says my OS is out of date. It runs android jellybean 4.1. So the fix is to download a previous version of G+ and not update it. Since Samsung seems to sell the most android tablets you would think Google would make sure their stuff runs on them at least.

Since the last update, I can't get the YouTube app to stop crashing even when I uninstall the updates. So I've shut it off and downloaded an alternative from the Amazon app store called ProTube. It doesn't have all the fancy gesture functions or a windows function, but it seems to play the videos fairly well. I guess I will wait for YouTube to update a few more times and try it again in the future. Meanwhile ProTube seems to be okay for now.
