I'm having a weird issue with my Note Pro 12.2 tablet shutting off when it gets to about 25% of the battery. It basically just crashes and shuts off cold. Then I can't boot it up even safe mode until I plug it in. When I have it plugged in it doesn't shut off at 25% or below. The Galaxy S4 phones had an issue with faulty batteries that were doing the same thing, so I am thinking this might be the case. Although the issue didn't start until after the latest kitkat update. The reason I think it is a hardware problem is because of the date and time issue. Each time my tablet crashes, I have to reset the date and time. That means the tablet is without power completely when it crashes. I guess the only way to tell for sure is a factory reset and I really didn't want to do that yet. I have a lot of stuff on this tablet that I will have to restore.

Right now I am avoiding the problem by just plugging my tablet in when it gets to 25 % . That is working so far. I am thinking Samsung will probably upgrade this tablet to android L operating system and then I can see if the problem is kitkat 4.4.2. I don't know when Samsung will update their tablets though.
