SketchBook Pro has announced they have just completed a massive overhaul of their app and will be releasing it soon for android and ios. I watched the video on the website and it looks like they've added synthetic and blending brushes like they have on the desktop software. Hooray! That's what I've been wanting. The lack of blending brushes has been a weak spot in this app and it looks like they fixed it. The UI has been changed to integrate the color picker and brush size into a sidebar. It also looks like they've added some more tools. They haven't given a release date, but it is supposed to be out soon. Both Corel Painter and and Autodesk have gotten ahead of ArtRage in their app releases and redesigns. ArtRage is lagging behind, but I think android users always have room for another good painting app. I think the note tablets and wacom hybrids have pushed developers to come up with better painting apps and I say , Long Live Note Tablets!
