You can now edit a stroke after you made it. Move it, bend it or change brush settings. this will be great for inking sketches!

I finally decided to purchase the upgrade to the UI. It basically gives you a bunch of floating pods that you can arrange. You can arrange the color picker, the layer editor, a custom color palette and several other color functions. It is a better layout for tablets as well. You can also dock specialized clovers anywhere you want to while making the menus vanish. I need to play around with it some more. I think the developer would be better served to just have another pro version for the upgraded UI instead of making it an IAP ( which is not easy to find either).

I paid for it as well. Cant remember the feature I particularly wanted at the time though. I've not used it much since though. Starting to go to some live drawing classes as of next week so will hopefully make some more use of it there.

Those classes should be great practice! I've been practicing my drawing skills with Sketchbook Pro and Ink lately. They are really easy to use, but I think once you get Clover Paint customized it can be fairly convenient to use for drawing practice. It is a powerful program, if I can figure it out, haha!

Hey,
Thanks for sharing my videos!
I feel like right now, Clover Paint is a bit constrained by the Hardware available. I think within a year or two there will be a few solid devices that will offer both screen size and processor speed. When that happens, I think Clover Paint will really shine.

agreed. id love to try it on the newer note pro. I think that has 3gb ram. I think its the ram that constrains it the most. have you tried launching the app through another programme to ensure that it can get all the resources possible allocated to it?
i have iobit advance mobile care on my tablet. it has a "game speeder" module in it that closes other background apps and stops them from opening while you use what ever app you launch through it. would be interested if you see a difference with it or if its just a placebo effect im getting.

If you have rooted. you also have the option of overclocking your device to squeese that bit extra performance out of it. I used to OC my note 8 as well as undervolt it, but didnt like how hot it got. Now i have it at stock clock speeds but slightly undervolted to improve the battery life.
In addition you have apps like "greenify". This can be used to stop apps opening themselves up in the background on their own accord to refresh. This allows you to improve your battery life and the performance of the apps you are running.
Finally. Task killers arent really recommended for Android as Android is designed to fill up the RAM as you go to allow quick access to multiple apps. This doesnt really help with RAM heavy apps such as clover paint. So I kill all other apps using the shortcut on "taskbar 7". This normally free's up about half a gig of RAM for me.
