I have been saying that you can't use keyboard shortcuts in Corel Painter 2015 when your tablet is hooked up to your PC via the Splashtop Remote Desktop HD app. While it is true that you can't use the keyboard for the shortcuts, thanks to a nifty function in Painter that sets up a custom palette, you can use keyboard commands. Here's how you do it. You create a custom palette then you find the function on the menu that says add command. You can then select the palette you want and find any menu command, hit add and it will be put in the palette as a button. You can also add brushes and papers to your palette. When adding the brushes and papers you hit the shift key and drag them into the palette. You have to set this up on your PC with the regular keyboard because you can't do it through Splashtop, but once you have the palette set up then you can use it with Splashtop. I am going to play around with this some more and see just how far it will go. One of the things that bugged me about Painter was the lack of an undo button on the menu, but now I can make one with the custom palette function.

I don't know if anyone else has had this problem with Corel Painter 2015, but when I tried to import custom palettes and workspaces from Painter 12 the whole program crashed. It quit working and wouldn't open so I had to delete those custom workspaces and uninstall and reinstall Painter 2015 to get it working again. So I don't know if this is just a bug with Painter 12 files or if it happens when importing any workspaces. There are several bugs in Painter 2015 that need to be fixed.
